Is Been There free?
Yes. Been There is free to download and use. -
Who can see the places I share?
You control this for every post. Pins can be shared with your friends, kept private to you, or made visible to the wider Been There community. You can change the audience at any time from within the app. -
How do I invite friends?
Open the Friends tab in the app and tap Invite. You can share your profile link by message, or find friends already on Been There by searching. -
Why can't I find a specific place?
We use Google Places to look up restaurants, bars, cafés, and pubs. If a place you love isn't showing up, email [email protected] and we'll take a look. -
How do I report a bug or a user?
Email [email protected] with as much detail as you can. For urgent safety issues, please include "URGENT" in the subject line. -
How do I delete my account?
Use the button in the section below, or from inside the app go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. All your content and personal data is removed within 30 days.
Delete your account
You can delete your Been There account at any time. This permanently removes your profile, your posts and photos, your wishlists, and your friend connections.
Analytics data linked to your account is removed within 30 days. Security logs are retained for up to 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
